It is a smaller system than the UK, which means fewer options and tighter competition rather than an easier route in.
A one-year Master's typically totals ₹25–40 lakh including tuition, living, visa and travel. Dublin drives most of the variance; universities in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Maynooth can be meaningfully cheaper to live in for the same qualification.

Master's graduates from an eligible programme can stay for up to 24 months under the Third Level Graduate Programme to look for and take up employment. Honours Bachelor's graduates get 12 months. The permission is for job-seeking and working, and moving to a general employment permit or Critical Skills permit before it expires is the normal path.
You need to show tuition paid or payable plus a living-cost figure set by Irish immigration for the year, and evidence of access to the same for each subsequent year. The figure is published and revised, so we confirm the current one with you at application time.
Tuition is broadly comparable and often slightly lower, but Dublin accommodation can erase that difference entirely. Compared like for like against London the answer is usually yes; against a UK university in a mid-sized city, often no. This is worth modelling properly rather than assuming.
