Canada changed a lot between 2024 and 2026: study permit caps, provincial attestation letters, a higher proof-of-funds bar, and tighter rules on which programmes lead to a post-graduation work permit. Most of the advice floating around is out of date, and acting on out-of-date advice about Canada is expensive. We work from the current rules and tell you plainly when a plan no longer works.
A one to two year Master's typically totals ₹25–50 lakh including tuition, living, GIC, permit and travel. The GIC and proof-of-funds requirement is a separate, current figure that changes with indexation — our Canada study funds tool tracks it rather than us quoting a number that goes stale.
Margam is a study abroad consultancy based in Hanamkonda, Warangal. Mentorship runs over Zoom and WhatsApp, so students across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and the rest of India work with us the same way.
Before any shortlist, we look at whether Canada is the right answer for your scores, budget and what you want afterwards. Sometimes it is not, and we say so.
Universities ranked against what you want to do after the degree, with realistic, ambitious and safe options separated honestly.
Written with you, not for you. Admissions readers can tell the difference, and so can visa officers.
Financial documentation, proof of funds, interview preparation where the country has one, and education loan guidance with and without collateral.
You need first-year tuition plus a living-cost figure set by IRCC, which was raised substantially and is now indexed annually. Because it moves, we point you at our Canada study funds tool, which is rate-checked, instead of printing a number here that could be a year out of date by the time you read it.
The PAL, or its territorial equivalent, is a letter from the province confirming your place counts against its allocation under the study permit cap. Most study permit applications now need one, with narrow exemptions. Your institution issues it as part of the offer process, and an application submitted without one when it is required is refused outright.
Not automatically. Eligibility depends on the institution type, programme length, and for several categories, whether the field of study is on the current eligible list. This is the single most common way a Canada plan goes wrong, so we check it against the current rules for every option on your shortlist before you commit.
For the right profile, yes: strong universities, a real post-study work route, and lower tuition than the USA. For a profile built on the assumptions of 2022, no. The honest answer depends on your field, your budget, and whether the programme you want still carries PGWP eligibility. We would rather tell you it does not work than sell you the application.
You need an accepted English test in nearly all cases: IELTS Academic and PTE Academic are the usual choices, and the Student Direct Stream historically expected a specific band profile. Requirements differ between the institution and the permit, and the higher of the two is the one that binds.
Yes. We work through collateral and non-collateral options, the difference in what banks and NBFCs will fund, and what the repayment actually looks like on a realistic starting salary. Our repayment reality tool models that before you sign anything.
That is what the first call is for. Fifteen minutes, free, no pitch. We look at your profile and tell you which destination the numbers actually favour, even when it is not the one you came in asking about.
